Hi, I AM DR. VAL

There's nothing scarier than when your body's check engine light comes on. Especially when "they" say everything is normal, but you don't feel right.

What happens next?

Chances are, you spend way too much time with Dr. Google. Waste a ton of money in health food store and end up with more supplements than dust bunnies. You lose hair in places you want it and grow it in places you don't! Your sex drive becomes a sex walk. And getting rid of that spare tire or extra junk in your trunk is a lot harder than it used to be.

Even though "they" say it's all part of the aging process. I am here to tell you, it's NOT true! You are not "old" and you're not broken. You don't have to live this way. Your body is an ecosystem and when you are out of alignment, your entire system can suffer and be at risk.

As a Naturopathic Doctor, I take a comprehensive functional medicine approach to help your body run at full throttle. Instead of just medicating the symptoms, we'll work together to get to the root cause; whether it's your hormones, neurotransmitters, toxins, a lack of the right nutrients or something else. Don't worry, we'll figure it out. Once we address what you originally came to me for, I'll teach you how to listen to your body. You'll understand how it communicates and learn how to honor, nurture and care for it, so you can live with passion and purpose.

I guide you through the healing process by drawing on over twenty years of clinical experience, formal training in nutritional science and Ayurvedic nutrition. I also integrate the secret knowledge and training in Traditional Asian Medicine, acupuncture and hypnosis I obtained while traveling across the globe.

In addition to helping my patients, I share my knowledge with my peers through the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors and as a professor at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.

I want to help you bio-transform your body and get into the best state of your life now. Let's connect so you can start your journey.

What Training Do Naturopathic Doctors Have?

NDs obtain comprehensive and rigorous training in an educational structure quite similar to that of medical doctors and chiropractors. NDs require four years of post secondary education including pre-med courses, plus four years of fulltime graduate level study at an approved accredited college of naturopathic medicine. Upon graduating, they must complete North American licensing board examinations in order to apply for a license to practice. In Ontario, this is with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario.

In Canada, the naturopathic medical profession’s infrastructure includes accredited educational institutions, professional licensing, national standards of practice, participation in many federal health committee initiatives, and a commitment to state-of-the-art scientific research of naturopathic therapies.
